Both Chaplaincy Consulting and Autumn Life are non-denominational and were founded and are directed by Rev. Jerry Amstutz. Blessed to have twelve pastors in his family, Jerry has a special affinity for ministers. He himself has been a pastor for 35 years, and has served in a bi-vocational role with First Baptist Church in Janesville since 2005. That congregation has welcomed numerous households to active membership as a direct result of Autumn Life.
In his spare time, Jerry is an avid Atlanta Braves baseball fan and umpired high school baseball and softball for 30 years. He and his wife Julia have been married since 1982 and are very thankful to have an adult son and daughter who love the Lord.
Chaplaincy Consulting and Autumn Life are grateful to have an Advisory Board that gives counsel to our Executive Director. Board members include a senior pastor, a funeral home owner, an assisted living activities director, a hospice nurse, a former lead chaplain for a major hospital, and a marketing professional.
